Today I interoduce you what I ate at Lapaz like 2 hours ago.
Tantanmen!!!
Tantanmen is a chinese noodle dish which is very popular here in Japan.
The way to cook it is much easier than ramen soup. The difficult point is to get chinese spices but you can buy them at a supermarket ;))
[Ingredients]
・180g ground pork
・1 clove pressed garlic
・1/2 table spoon grated ginger
・1 long green onion
・2 bags of Chinese noodles
[Spices]
・2 table spoon sesame paste
・2 tea spoon doubanjiang(豆板醤)
・1 tea spoon sweet bean sauce(甜麺醤)
・1 tea spoon hot sesame oil
・1/4 cup soy sauce
・1 table spoon miso paste
・2 table spoon chicken powder
・1 table spoon sake
[How to cook]
1. Heat a sesame oil in a frying pan, add doubanjian(豆板醤), then add garlic, ginger, and green onion, and stir for 30 seconds.
2. Add ground pork, cook for 3 minites over medium heat.
3. Add sake, soy sauce, miso, chicken powder, sweet bean sauce, sesame paste, and mix.
4.Add 4 cups of water, and when it boils add hot sesame oil and simmer for 10 minites on low heat.
5. Put the noodles in hot water to separate.
6. PUt noodles in a bowl and add soup.
If you want more spicey in your mouth, you can add hot sesame oil as much as you like.
